Two years ago I became disillusioned with the Christian Church. Things, issues were eating at my soul. Why are there so many denominations? Why are there so many different and variable doctrines? Why do Christians call each other names? Why do they point the finger and accuse each other? The questions were burning inside me and I had to find answers. I had to settle my soul. I was absolutely certain this was not the way God wanted it to be.

I decided to do some spiritual time travel. I went back to the pre-flood days. There were no churches and no Bibles. I asked the question: "What did God want and expect from his people back then?"

The answer was so simple that it absolutely astounded me. God only wanted two things from man back then. The first was to trust him completely. The second was to love each other. THAT IS ALL! Years later a third would be added - accept Jesus.

People, today that has not changed! TODAY, THAT IS STILL GOD'S ONLY BASIC WILL FOR ALL OF US!

I realized that all those issues that the church argues about are TRIVIAL in the eyes of God. I also realized that the reason God created the Commandments, and the reason he sent Jesus, is because man had been unable to live to those first two basic wills.

I made up my mind that I was going to live, preach and teach only those three basic wills, and not be concerned with any of those other issues.

Living those wills is not easy. It is easy to talk love and trust, but actually living them is another level. There are so many challenges and issues - distractions to life that can prevent a person from walking in God's will. But, I do know this: If a person can live those three basic wills, that person will fall under the favor and blessings of God.

I have found the answer to the question that Christians have been asking for 2000 years. I don't need to continue searching for more. I have figured it out. 95% of the written word of the Bible relates either directly or indirectly to those three basic wills.

1. Trust God completely - Turn everything over to him, without worry.

2. Love each other - Live to be a blessing to all - Live a life of kindness.

3. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior - He loves you - love him back.

My friends - try to get this. All those other issues in the church are nothing. Live these wills of God and be blessed while being a blessing to him and all around you.

One attribute of God that becomes controversial at times is his personhood. He is as much a person as he is a god. What that means is that he has emotions and feelings. That is not a weakness as some believe, for without emotions there would be no love. With love there is great strength.

God has this great love that makes up his being. He desired to find a means to share this love, for it had no where to go.

There was a specific purpose for the creation of man. God had spent billions of years as a spirit floating in the black emptiness of space. He, as a person, was both lonely and bored. So, he created stars and planets to light up his surroundings. But this great love still had no where to go.

He created a home that we call Heaven, and surrounded it with his spirit. Then he manifested into a physical form that is human in appearance. He could now walk on his home. He created Angels, millions of them. But they had no free will and did not fill his need for love. He then created Archangels, large super angels with free will. They still did not satisfy his desire to have a family of children.

It was then he decided to create man. His desire was to create a family of children whom he could love and who would love him. He would have a relationship with these children and would dwell with them.

What was he looking for in a relationship - why did he want a relationship? He wanted a family that he could spend every day with in joyful activities - fun. He is looking for fun. He had experienced emotions of sadness and loneliness. He was looking for the opposite - joyful activities with someone he loved and loved him - fun.

So, he created Adam, and then Eve. He gave them complete free will so they could freely love him. Unfortunately, this free will also allowed them to make bad decisions - mistakes. Adam and Eve and the human race were an experiment with the desired result being a huge population of his children who would love and trust him, and love each other.

Adam and Eve were forced out of the garden and started a family. This was the beginning of God's family. But His experiment was causing him frustration. As his creation grew in size his frustration grew as the everyday challenges and responsibilities of life continued to distract his children from him. He was not having much fun.

God's plan was while in the garden, he would supply all of the needs of his creation. This would allow the relationship to blossom and grow. The Garden of Eden was created for this purpose. Food and nature were abundant, and all Adam and Eve had to do was to gather the food.

But, that all changed outside the Garden. Food and shelter were scarce and required some degree of work on a daily basis. God's plan was to still supply their needs, but it got to a point where meeting the needs of everyday life became the dominant activity instead of the relationship with their creator. God was both hurt and frustrated. If they would just trust him, he would supply all of their needs, but as they focused on meeting their own needs, their trust faded away, as did the daily relationship.

As the relationship faded away, mans survival instincts took over as did greed, jealousy and envy. Now there was fighting and bickering among his family.

What was he going to do? ALL HE WANTED WAS FOR THEM TO TRUST HIM AND LOVE EACH OTHER. Everything was getting out of hand.

He decided he needed to spell it out for his family - how to treat each other. So he gave them the Ten Commandments.

After several years, the people were forgetting about the commandments as their everyday challenges and responsibilities were still distracting them from God.

God needed to force something on them that would remind them every day, of his will and commandments. So he created the law. The law, which some perceived as punishment, was only meant to force the people to focus on God every day. It was not a punishment, but a distraction to the distraction.

The law, over time became traditional ritualism, and as a result, ended up just another everyday distraction that actually ended up doing the opposite of its original purpose.

So, what would God do now? HE STILL WANTED THE SAME THING - TRUST HIM AND LOVE EACH OTHER. So, he sent his Son Jesus. Jesus died and the world was briefly going in the right direction. But within 300 years things had regressed back and man was once again distant from God.

People - God and his will and desires hasn't changed. He still wants to share your lives and participate in joyful activities with you. He wants to have fun with you. That is his will - our purpose. Yet, you are still distracted with your daily lives. Some of you spend hours every week searching the Bible for his will. I've known people who try to find a way to apply every single line of scripture to their everyday lives. And as a result, they are ignoring and neglecting the basic will that has not changed in over 6000 years.

If you would or could turn everything over to God with complete trust, he would take care of everything. If you would live a life of kindness, he would take care of everything. Trust him and love each other - that still hasn't changed.

How do you do that? How does a person hand over everything to God and give God 100% of himself, without the challenges and responsibilities of everyday life distracting him. It is extremely difficult.

You still have to deal with the issues at hand, so while you are dealing with those, live a life of kindness to all. Let love consume you, realizing that the way people are may not be their fault. And as this life of kindness continues, and the love in your heart grows, God will start dealing with and removing these distracting issues for you.

Start every day with love in your heart and a commitment to kindness, and start having fun with God. Be joyful, filled with kindness and laughter. That is really what he wants.

All this division in the church over trivial issues is a continuance of what is causing God sadness and frustration. He is looking down with a loving tear in his eye, saying "Just get along - please". He is saying to just get together as a family and have fun, and he will be there with you.

God's will for us is not complicated. Stop looking for more. Make his joy a priority today.

I happened to stop on TBN last night and had the pleasure of watching Art Linkletter being interviewed about his new book. Art is 97 years old.

Here is a 97 year old man who is spry, healthy and has remained active all his life. People just don't live to be 97 without some godly help.

Art's life changed in 1970 when his daughter died from an overdose. It was after that that he was transformed and became active in issues of humanity. It was then that he became aware of God's incredible love. Art gave himself to serving God and mankind in any way that was necessary.

Talking about his book, Art made a profound statement that goes along with what I have been teaching here. He said: "People who know God will live longer, have a fuller life and a healthier life." At 97 he knows how blessed he is. Bless his heart - He is mentally sharp and filled with the joy of the Lord.

But what does it mean - To know God, when knowing God will bring you out of poverty, ill health and turmoil?

Being a Christian does not mean you know God. Reading and studying the Bible does not mean you know God. There are plenty of Christians who read the Bible every day and live in poverty and ill health.

Some will say that that is because those people do not practice or live what they learn from the Bible. That is a correct statement. But, WHY? Why is it those people do not practice a lifestyle as Jesus?

The answer is that in spite of all that knowledge, they remain as carnal believers, and as carnal believers, they can never achieve any level of righteousness. A person can not be like Jesus, if that person ONLY knows ABOUT Jesus, because acting out the nature of Jesus is only behavior that is on the surface.

You can only become like God, or Jesus, by sharing a pure spiritual relationship with them. By spending every day and every hour with God in a spiritual realm, you can not help but become like him - that is share his nature and wisdom. That is true righteousness.

When you reach a level of spiritual maturity, the literal "Keys To The Kingdom" are yours. You are in his hands and he is watching over every aspect of your life. You will never be in want or pain or turmoil again. Take it from Art Linkletter, 97 years old man, God is more than just life. Knowing God is LIVING!

The Roman Church was an organization that started out as the Church of Jesus Christ, but over a few hundred years it became quite the opposite. The Roman Church became the most powerful influence in the world, and thru a campaign of fear, amassed more wealth than any monarchy on the planet. What started out as love based soon became greed based, and as love faded away, faith became the prevalent focus. Faith in the Roman Church, in their purpose and position in the Kingdom of God, was soon bringing in revenue from the rich and poor. How did this work? How do you convince someone who has very little to virtually nothing, to give what they have to an organization whose leaders are living a lifestyle of incredible wealth? FEAR! Fear-based faith is what brought millions of people to the Roman Church. People were told that they could basically buy their salvation and the salvation of their families. They were told that failing to give to the Church would bring down God’s curse and wrath on them. The people were taught not to trust God, but to trust the Church. They were told lies like the Pontiff was the Vicar of Jesus Christ on the Earth and his words were the words of Almighty God. The church was stealing from the poor, using not a sword, but fear. As the rich got richer and the poor got poorer, the power and corruption of the church grew. What had started out as being about Jesus, was now about the sitting Pontiff. The reason I am bringing this up is because the Roman Church is the source of all the doctrines, practices, beliefs and rituals of the modern Christian Church. The Roman Church is responsible for removing love as the primary focus of God’s children, and replacing it with fear and hope-based faith. Everybody knows that God IS love, but the main focus of the modern Christian Church is faith. Faith is so prevalent in the modern church that it has taken on a completely new meaning – religion. “What is your faith?” “So and so is of the Christian Faith.” WHAT ABOUT LOVE? If you think I am downplaying faith, you are absolutely correct. I am downplaying it because the focus on it is actually keeping people distant from God. You can not be close to God on faith alone. Faith opens the door to your relationship with God, but then love MUST take over. Without love, you are left there staring at an open door. You can not just say and think love and expect to get thru the door. You must feel and live love to come into the presence of God. I’m not saying we don’t need faith. Faith is the source of our salvation – it is an absolute requirement! But, it is not everything. Love is everything of, for and in God. Faith is like a key. You use it to open the door to God’s Kingdom. But, once the door is open, you put the key in your pocket, turn your love on and go thru the door. PEOPLE, IT IS TIME WE PUT LOVE BACK AS THE PRIMARY FOCUS AND PURPOSE OF GOD’S PEOPLE!!!! It is not just a word or thought. It is a lifestyle of kindness.

There are three stages or levels of forgiveness: Verbal, Mental and Spiritual.

The 1st level is "Verbal". That is where you say it without really thinking about it. Unfortunately most people stop at this stage, and it never works and has absolutely no positive effect.

The 2nd level is "Mental", where you say it and actually think about it. This is better than the 1st level, but it will not last as it does not get rid of any deep-seated anger.

The 3rd level is "Spiritual". It is where you actually say it, think it, feel it, accept it and bury it. It is the most complicated level and is what I am going to talk about here.

First you will need to find a quiet place where you can sit without any distraction or interference. Then you sit and meditate.

Start with the earliest source of your anger your youngest age. Start naming every bad or negative thing that person did to you - one at a time. You don't have to name or describe each similar incident. You can categorize, grouping similar incidents into one incident. In other words, if you were physically abused 50 times, you don't have to name each of the 50 incidents of abuse - just one.

As you name each incident, think about it and think how it is not hurting you now. (Of course the memory is hurting you, but your forgiveness will take that away.) Think of how maybe the person who hurt you didn't really mean to. Think of how maybe the way that person is may not be his or her fault. Then say to yourself: "I'm over that now, it can't hurt me any longer because I bury it" "I remove all anger I have over this. It ends now!" (It's important that you feel this in your heart as you say it.)

Do this with each incident or group of incidents and each person. As you do this, feel the burden lifted from your soul.

When you are finished, sit quietly and let joy and love fill and overflow your heart. Commit to live a life of kindness towards those you have forgiven.

You have been set free to re-start your life on a new spiritual level.

If those dark thoughts return, think about your new love for those who have hurt you.

There are many beliefs concerning how to pray. Some churches even have classes on how to pray. There is a false belief shared by some that God will ignore prayers that are not said or done properly. How you pray is not important to God. What is important to God when it involves prayer is purpose, attitude and motivation. The first thing he wants to know is if there is an urgent and critical need. He looks at what your mental attitude is. Are you humble and contrite? Are you loving and kind? He looks at your motivation. Are you praying out of love, fear, greed or anger? He is interested in your purpose for praying. Are you praying for another person, a cause, a nation or yourself? Praying for another person always gets his attention. These are all mental/spiritual issues. The words you use and your method of delivery are not important to God. It is all about what is deep inside. When Jesus gave the people the Lords Prayer, telling them that that is how to pray, he was not talking about the words, He was talking about those three issues – purpose, attitude and motivation. When you pray, God likes it if and when you state why you believe it is important that he answer the prayer positively. I know it seems like a one sided discussion, but you can actually change God’s mind if you can state your case in a way that shows how it will bring love and glory to Him. “Intercessory Influence” - There are people who have a reputation as prayer warriors. These people seem to get things done when they pray for others. They have intercessory influence. They have God’s ear, and they have God’s favor. Why is that? These people have earned God’s favor by walking in a spiritual realm of love. They have proven to God that their purpose is righteous and noble. They are humble people who want no recognition for themselves, but instead give it all to God. Anybody can become a prayer warrior by walking in love. When you walk in love, you have made God’s purpose, your purpose. When you walk in love, you share God’s nature and wisdom. This is how you get “Intercessory Influence”. Incessantly repeating prayers – When God answers prayers, his answer will be either; yes, no, later or maybe. Once he has initially answered, he is not going to change his mind if you keep asking him. How do you feel when you have answered your child and your child will keep asking you again and again? You feel annoyed and may even get angry. God is the same way. If you want to change his mind, you may need to change something first. Or, he may be answering “Maybe” or “Later”. When he answers maybe, he is waiting for somebody or something to change. When he answers “later”, that means he has a plan to answering the prayer sometime in the future. The question may be asked: “How do I know what God’s answer is? How do I know if I need to do or change something?” God will speak it into you spiritual mind. The main thing to remember is that in order for God to give a positive answer to your prayer, it must be within his will. But, if it isn’t, it is possible to change his will by discussing it with him. He is always willing to listen to your reasoning. Actually he is blessed anytime you want to discuss anything with him. But, repeating the same prayer over and over and over again will not get you anywhere, If he says “no”, he wants to know why you think he should answer “yes”. In summary, the best way to get your prayers answered with a positive answer is to grow spiritually and walk in love always. AMEN!

Joshua 3:5 (New American Standard)

5 Then Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you."

When a believer begins to make the transition from carnal to spiritual believer, it is the opening of a door to God's Kingdom. It is a door which, when passed through, will lead to all of the blessings that God has for each individual. God has great and wondrous gifts for us, while still in this life. The gifts are spiritual, physiological and material. But, there is a price that many will have to pay to get through that door. It is a consecration that will set us aside for God.

The consecration is a season that could last anywhere from six months to ten years. The time and depth of consecration is dependent on the level of blessing, or gifting, that God wants to give you. It is a season where God will try you and test you, again and again and again. It is where he will determine if he can trust you with your blessings and gifting. It is a season where he may bring you to the lowest depths of your life where he can find if you will still love and trust him - no matter what happens. It is a season where many believers will give up and loose their blessing.

The problem is that most believers will not understand what is happening and why. They will not understand that God is in control, and instead will blame Satan for demonic attacks on them and their lives. Then what happens is that their attempts to get closer to God in order to stave off the attacks seem to fail because the attacks do not let up. As a result, many believers thinking that God is angry at them will turn away in frustration.

God's consecration will bring a believer to his knees, and just when that believer is about to throw in the towel, God will let up and give that person rest and peace for a short while.

What is God looking for? What qualities is he watching for? He wants to find out if you can rise above turmoil and adversity. He wants to find out if you will still love him after he allows these things to happen in your life. He wants to find out if you will forgive him for allowing what you perceive to be undeserved turmoil to go on in your life. Basically he is finding out if you have REALLY put him first, or if it is just words.

Why is God doing this? A carnal believer, if given the blessings that God has for him, would turn away from God with the hidden perception that he no longer needs God. God does not want to loose you to your blessing.

Once you become a fully consecrated spiritual Christian, you have proven to God that He is absolutely number one in your life and NOTHING else is necessary. You have proven that you live fully for him and his joy. THAT is when the windows of Heaven will open and pour out God's blessings on you, your family and your friends.

What are the blessings that God has for us? Spiritual - Great spiritual gifts that are meant for those who have a love-filled heart. A life free of turmoil, filled with peace and joy. Physiological - Perfect health - not just good health, but perfect health - not just for you, but your entire family. Material - Great material and financial wealth that will allow you to become a blessing to many. Favor - God's favor in everything you do.

It is God's will that every one of us reach a level of consecrated spiritual maturity. He has much for us prior to our heavenly stay.

How does God feel about Christmas? As Christmas has become more commercialized as each year passes, there is much concern and controversy in the church concerning Christmas and its true meaning and purpose.

God just loves Christmas, and I'll explain why. He loves it and us so much, it doesn't even matter that we are celebrating it over three months late. Jesus was born in September.

God loves Christmas because it is about four things that are near and dear to him: The birth and birthday of Jesus - When we celebrate it, God is there celebrating with us. Children - God adores children. Giving - The true Christian spirit is all about giving. Family gatherings and celebration - God loves it when we have family gatherings and celebrate together.

Yes, it is becoming more commercial every year, but, in spite of that, it IS a season of giving, a season where when children are present, the focus is on them, and a season of family unity. That is what blesses God.

When a child is growing up, progressing through childhood, everything that child sees, hears, and experiences, has some effect on the adult future of that child.

 Many parents of today are either too busy or too lazy to raise their children properly.  Their lives are primarily about them and their children have become a distraction to their way of life.

Parents – YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOUR CHILD BECOMES!

If you are not raising your children in a loving, nurturing environment, you may be shaping a dark future for those children.  If you are neglecting, ignoring or abusing your children in any way you may be hurting them in more ways than you are aware of.

The human brain is highly programmable, and once something gets in, and is stored, it is almost impossible to get it out.  De-programming the human brain has proven to be next to impossible and that is why medical/mental health has resorted to medication as their primary choice of treatment.

Things, issues, experiences that a child goes through will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  Maybe not on the surface, but they will always be there somewhere.

For example, if you have a child who is being bullied, that child will carry anger into adulthood.  If you have a child who is being bullied, you need to deal with that NOW in a positive way.  Not later, not tomorrow, not next week – now!  If you are abusing, neglecting, or ignoring your children, you need to put your focus, and your love, on them NOW.  They don’t have anyone else.  If you are so lazy or distracted that you feel you can allow them to make their decisions, if you feel that they should or can be treated like adults, you may be sentencing them to an adult life of misery.

If you allow them to ignore you when you tell them to STOP, they will continue ignoring you.  If you allow them to choose their own diet, they will end up obese and/or unhealthy.  If you allow them to play video games and watch TV instead of studying with them, they will end up as stupid.

For some of you it is already too late, and only God’s intervention can change your child’s future.

When my children were growing up, we had a next door neighbor, who was always complaining about my kids.  She was very nit-picky about what MY kids did.  My kids turned out fine, but her only son turned out to be a serial killer and is doing life in state prison.  Why?  God only knows.

PLEASE – Love your children so much that they will become loving, caring adults.  Love is not just a word. It requires action.  Make them the focus of your life.  You will never regret it.

The god I have come to know is not exactly the god described in the Bible. I believe that because God is not adequately described in the Bible. There is much more to him than what is written.

I have learned that all who have not accepted or know Jesus, are not lost or condemned. There are many in the world who do not know Jesus through no fault of their own. Many are born into their religions and are taught from early childhood by those they trust. Why should they change their beliefs just because some strangers tell them they should?

It would be like a Buddhist approaching a Christian and telling that Christian that he should change his beliefs to Buddhism, or he would be condemned to hell for eternity. What would the Christian do? He would ignore him. It's exactly the same for Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and all other religions.

God accepts them, as individuals, as they are, and judges them by their hearts, how they treat other people.

EVERY person who prays to a god is praying to the same god. There is only one true god. And God will answer their prayers, no matter what their religion, if they possess hearts of love. That is the God I have come to know.
